Don’t let your feelings tell you that you’re less than a conqueror. You are living out your destiny right now. You will become more than a conqueror when you activate that seed of greatness by what you think, by what you say, by how you praise, by how you respond to the power of God. It’s only a matter of time before you deliver that final blow and knock out the enemy.”īut like the boxer, you have to get this belief into your thinking. He is saying, “It’s not whether or not you will win. God has put inside you the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. Because Jesus Christ already conquered, He has set you free from sin and bondage and gives you the power to conquer. The seed He’s given you is going to be developed to cause you to overcome every challenge. He’s already written in His Word that you are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. He has placed in you the seed of a champion. In the same way, God is certain of your ability to succeed. But that note had no effect until it became a part of the boxer’s thinking, a belief in who he was. That instilled so much confidence in the boxer that he developed a champion’s mentality. It wasn’t whether or not he would win, but when he would win. Before every match the trainer would slip a note into the boxer’s glove with the number of the round he predicted this boxer would knock out his opponent. ![]() This reminds me of a boxer I heard about whose world-renowned trainer developed him into a world champion. Despite however much you may feel less than what He says, God sees you in your wholeness and has declared these are true through Christ Jesus already. ![]() How do see yourself today? When God says that in all the things you face today “you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved us” (Romans 8:37), do you see yourself as more than a conqueror? Or how about when you read that God says you are His masterpiece, created anew in Christ Jesus, so you can do the good things He planned for you (Ephesians 2:10)? When you look in the mirror, do you see a masterpiece? When God says you are created in His image and His most treasured possession, do you wonder if He’s actually referring to you? The thing we have to realize is that when He speaks about us, He is looking at us as if we’re already the completed person He’s making us into. That’s how they are going to become all they were created to be. ![]() Your kind words and compliments can be what push them into their destiny and make them healthier and stronger. The people around you need what you have. Don’t miss opportunities to bring nourishment. You mean the world to me,” that’s not just encouraging them it’s bringing healing to their body. When you call a friend who’s down and say, “I’m thinking about you. I’m blessed to have you in my life,” that’s not only going to make your relationship stronger, but it’s making your spouse more secure and confident. Just a simple compliment such as, “You did great on that presentation,” nourishes their soul. Today’s Scripture says you can make someone healthier by speaking kind words. When you say something kind to a friend, give a compliment to a coworker, tell your spouse that you love them, or encourage a neighbor, it can seem like a simple thing, no big deal.
